Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA) Civil Society Organisation of Nigeria (CSO) and the opposition parties are protesting over the suspension of Walter Onnoghen CJN.

The protest start off from the NBA secretariat in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday suspended Justice Walter Onnoghen and replaced him with Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed as the acting CJN.

The new acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, justice Ibrahim Mohammed Tanko has since  inaugurate 250 judges for elections tribunal.
